Doorstep Vet: Euthanasia at Home
Who We Are
Doorstep Vet is not a veterinary organization, not really. We are a relationship organization that uses the tools of veterinary medicine to accomplish our goals. Perhaps the best way to understand what we truly are is to examine our mission statement.
Our Mission Statement
For our Patients
To cure sometimes
To relieve often
To comfort always
For our Clients
To provide compassion without judgement
To provide relief through education
To work always ethically
To earn a living doing what we love
To supplement life with work, not supplant it
Dr. Casey Hill
Owner and Veterinarian
Dr. Casey Hill graduated from veterinary school in 2010 from Virginia Tech. Upon graduation she moved to Austin with her husband, Christian, and two cats. Since that time, she has been working to keep the pets of Austin happy and healthy. She has worked as a traditional cat, dog, and exotics practitioner but now concentrates on her housecall work with Doorstep Vet.
Dr. Kimberly Pool
Dr. Kimberly Pool graduated from veterinary school in 2010 from Texas A&M. She is a native Austinite and moved back home after graduation to start her childhood dream of helping pets. Since that time she has worked as a small animal practitioner and is now expanding this work to help animals at home with Doorstep Vet.
She spends her free time with her husband, two daughters, and her lab named Midnight.
Dr. Debbie Elliot
Dr. Debbie Elliott graduated veterinary school from Texas A&M University and moved to New Jersey to start her veterinary career. She practiced in traditional small animal practices, started her own relief veterinary service, and started a house call practice while living in NJ. In 2018 she returned to her home state of Texas and settled in Austin. She finds peace in assisting pets by improving their quality of life and in strengthening the bond between pets and their owners. She enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her family, friends, and her dogs, Ada and Zack, and her kitties, Cleopatra and Finn.
Client Care Specialist
Mrs. Kelsey Bass studied dietetics at Abilene Christian University but her love for animals and people led her to find a career with both. She is excited to help the pets of Austin as a Client Care Specialist with Doorstep Vet.
When she is not working, she loves spending her free time doing crafty actives, playing video games with her husband, and throwing a ball around with her Labrador retriever, Luna.
